You will recite the information in both languages back and forth to be more experienced in the usage of the word(s). Doing this activity allows your brain to retain information but does require serious effort of repetition to see the notecard and test yourself.
Studying Spanish by using notecards is an excellent way to practice your writing skills and also to check your knowledge.

You can study Spanish by using a poster with Spanish words/ phrases in English. Having the Spanish words/ vocabulary on the poster, you will put the terms in different colors. You will write the Spanish words (terms) in red marker and then write the English meanings in black marker.
Having the Spanish terms in red marker will help you to identify the words plus be alert of the usage. In having the English meanings, you will be able to differentiate the terminology. This approach will help you to study Spanish from the poster effectively.
You will do this process for your Spanish studying on poster because it will help you to stay up to date with learning. All you need to do here is every day, read from the poster and recite the Spanish word. The English meanings will help you to know when to use the term in a given situation.
